Original Stamps

I like to incorporate stamped images into my paintings. They give a certain texture to the final product, but most commercial stamps have copywrite protection and sometimes I can’t find a specific image that I need. Turns out making stamps is very easy.

1-Buy a linoleum block and carving tools (I found mine at the craft store)

2-Draw the image on the block backwards (mirror image)

3-Carve out the sections what you don’t want to print

4-Do an initial test to make sure you like the image, carve more if needed
