Clothespin Bag

Clothespin Bag

I love the smell of clothes dried outside on the clothesline. No fabric softener can come close to that fresh smell. Want to make the experience more enjoyable? Check out this adorable clothespin bag by Made with Love by Hanna and recommended by Craft on twitter.

Scarfs are one of the easiest crochet projects to make.  No need for a pattern.  Just chain to the width you like + 1 chain.  Then single crochet + 1 chain for each row until it reaches the desired length.  You can create light skinny to chunky textured scarfs by playing with different yarn weights and hooks.

Dish Liquid Apron

Dish Liquid ApronI’m still on my sewing kick. This time I made this cute retro apron that goes over the bottle of dish soap. Nice little stocking stuffer for the domestic diva. I’m all for anything that will bring a smile to my face… especially when it comes to chores.  The dish liquid apron pattern can be found at the site along with other free sewing patterns nicely organized by skill level.

Sewing Kit

SewingKitBirds of a feather flock together. Some of the people on your gift list will most likely be crafters just like you. I have completed this sewing set with leftover fabric from a fellow crafter.  The roll up pattern is from Stacey Schyler and was mentioned on I found the pin cushion pattern at the site.

Other sources of small pieces of fabric at a good price are the leftover section at the sewing supply store or browsing thru the thrift store. It is possible to adjust the project a little and use the roll up for crochet needle storage. So cute..I will have to make a set for myself.
